VinhBao Do holds a Ph.D. in Food Science with Sensory Evaluation and Consumer Perception focus, received from University of Burgundy, France. In his previous academic role in France at The National Center for Scientific Research of (CNRS), VinhBao Do investigated how culture drives the perception and taste preference of consumers in different European and Asian countries. His research was conducted notably in France, Korea, Japan and Vietnam.
For over the past decade, VinhBao Do has worked in Sensory Science & Consumer Insights for leading local and global Food & Beverage companies in various Asia Pacific markets such as China, Japan, Thailand and Singapore. Currently based in Singapore, VinhBao leads the APAC Consumer Science team for G&C category at Mondelēz International, a global leading confectionery company.
His food and beverage related research interests and expertise include taste and flavor sensory evaluation, as well as cross-cultural consumer insights of eating behaviors and taste preferences.
